Cancellation Policy

Due to the nature of my small business, I have a strict cancelation policy in place. Because each child's spot is dedicated solely to them, it can be challenging for me to fill vacant slots when a lesson is cancelled or missed. I carefully manage my schedule to provide the best possible experience, and last-minute cancelations disrupt that balance.

I kindly ask that you respect my policy and notify me by text message (949) 329-4183 and by my Appointment Reminder text message system with a “no” reply as soon as possible if you need to cancel a lesson. This allows me to potentially offer that time slot to another child eager to learn. Please remember that the reason behind the cancelation policy is to ensure that every child has a chance to swim and learn.

  • 48-hour notice

    I kindly ask for at least 48 hour’s notice for any cancelation and you will not incur any charges.

  • Less than 48-hour notice

    If a cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the lesson, a 50% cancelation fee will apply.

  • Same day cancellation

    Cancellations made within 2 hours of the lesson will require 100% payment for the lesson.

  • Repeated cancellations

    After two cancellations in a 3-month period, I require 100% payment to secure your place in my schedule for the lesson following the cancellations.

  • Special Circumstances

    I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If your cancellation is prolonged beyond your control (such as illness or emergency), please contact me immediately and I will do my best to accommodate your situation.

  • Rain Days or Holidays

    If swimming lessons are cancelled at my discretion due to weather conditions or holiday, there will be no charge.
